Rollback is a feature that gives users the capability to quickly undo an article to a previous version, commonly when vandalism or the inclusion of inaccurate details has occurred. On Wookieepedia, all administrators possess the Rollback tool. In addition, standard users can be granted this permission by the community to show that they are trusted. You can nominate users for Rollback at Wookieepedia:Requests for user rights.
Although any user on Wookieepedia is able to undo a page to a prior state, Rollback users have access to a quicker, automated way to accomplish this. For Rollback users, a [rollback] link will be displayed adjacent to edits listed on the Recent Changes log, user contributions pages, diff pages, and also page histories.
Selecting the link will revert the page back to the most recent edit made by someone other than the user being reverted. An automatic edit summary that reads (Reverted edits by X (talk) to last version by Y) will be displayed and marked as a minor edit. If another person edits the page before the "rollback" link is selected, an error message will appear. For more details, see Help:Reverting.
