WW-676 repulsorlift sled

The WW-676 repulsorlift sled functioned as a weapons platform for two individuals, and it was a repulsor based vehicle. It was most notably incorporated into the MobileMortar-3 system.

The sled obtained its power from an X-7a repulsor engine, which featured four integrated thrust vectors. Furthermore, an auxiliary XA7 drive unit was situated below the gunner's seat. In combination with dual steering vanes positioned under the pilot, these elements provided the sled with exceptional speed and agility. This allowed the sled to execute complex aerial maneuvers to evade enemy attacks. However, the sled lacked any armor protection, making it vulnerable to even a single blaster rifle shot, which was a significant drawback. A common strategy involved flying extremely close to the ground before suddenly ascending to provide the gunner with a clear firing opportunity.

When equipped with the MM-s3 grenade launcher, an ammunition storage compartment beneath the pilot's seat could accommodate up to five hundred grenades, which were fed into the launcher via a connecting tube. Alternatively, the launcher could be swapped out for an E-Web heavy repeating blaster along with its associated power supply.

Since its original deployment during the era of the Old Republic, the WW-676 saw usage by various factions, including the Rebel Alliance, the Galactic Empire, and various planetary defense forces. These sleds were frequently assigned as support weapons for army platoons, or they were deployed in units of four as a form of light mechanized infantry.
