Publisher's summary

This is the third installment in the renowned series that follows the adventures of the Rogue Squadron pilots.

Even though the Rebels have successfully seized control of Coruscant, the Imperial headquarters, their challenges are far from resolved.

A deadly virus, known as Krytos, is rapidly spreading among the populace, instigating a counterrevolution at the very core of the New Republic. Simultaneously, Tycho Celchu, a celebrated Rebel hero, is being tried for treason, accused of the murder of his comrade and fellow pilot, Corran Horn.

However, Corran is, in fact, still alive, held captive within the secret and inescapable prison of Ysanne Isard, the Imperial officer whose reputation for torture and cruelty has earned her the nickname Iceheart. While struggling to regain his freedom, the pilot discovers an extraordinary ability within himself—the power of the Force!
