The assignment given to the members of Rogue Squadron seemed straightforward: locate and retrieve a group of Bothan survivors who crash-landed on Malrev IV. However, upon arriving at the remote planet, the Rogues were initially ambushed by the Irrukiine, a native species resembling canines, and subsequently by the very Bothans they were sent to rescue.
