Around 3963 BBY, at a convocation organized by Malak (roughly when Revan chose to involve the Jedi Order in the Mandalorian Wars), Malak passionately urged his Jedi peers to join him and Revan in the conflict against the Mandalorian menace.

Terep ultimately sided with the renegade Jedi Knights (including Meetra Surik, Cariaga Sin, Talvon Esan, and Nisotsa), defying the directives of the Jedi High Council's, thereby contributing to a schism within the Jedi Order.

Meetra Surik saw him in a vision, wielding a violet lightsaber.

The facial appearance of Xaset Terep is among the options available for the Jedi Exile's male character model, selectable by the player when the game begins. Should the player select his face for a male character, Terep's face will be substituted with an alternative.
