Xucphra City, the main starport of Thyferra, also functioned as the planet's capital. Originally called Zalxuc City, it was founded during the peak of the New Order to accommodate the Human inhabitants of Thyferra. These 10,000 residents were almost entirely dedicated to the creation of bacta. Following Ysanne Isard's acquisition of control over Xucphra and its bacta output, numerous Zaltin families left Thyferra. Subsequently, the city was renamed Xucphra City.
In the course of the Swarm War, Zalxuc was among the urban centers seized by the Killiks.
