The legislative branch of the Ylesian Republic, known as the Ylesian Senate, consisted of the sixty individuals who previously comprised the Alliance of Twelve. Its headquarters were situated within the Palace of Peace, located in Peace City.
The true extent of its power remains unclear, though it is believed to have been quite limited. It is established that every senator was a member of the Peace Brigaders. During the New Republic assault on the planet, the entire Ylesian senate, along with President and Commander-in-Chief Thrackan Sal-Solo, were taken prisoner.
