Younglings was a comic strip that appeared in The Padawan Observer, which served as the school newspaper for the Jedi academy located on Coruscant. It is possible it was featured in other publications too. The comic centered around the comedic misfortunes of a young Lannik male character named Chaba-Down. For instance, one comic showed Chaba-Down lamenting to a friend about his repeated failures, like trying to wield a lightsaber, to which his friend responded with "May the Force be with you, Chaba-Down." Another comic depicted Chaba-Down's constant frustration with Jawas who were always stealing his kite, preventing him from flying it successfully.
The comic's style, content, and characters are a clear nod to the famous comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, which frequently highlighted the comedic struggles of a young boy named Charlie Brown.
