Yun's father
This affluent male from the planet of Panatha, a prominent mineral baron, was the father of Yun, an Epicanthix. He spoiled his son, which resulted in Yun's lack of the necessary patience for the family enterprise. To instill this trait in his son, the baron opted to dispatch him to Bunduki to study under the Followers of Palawa, a monastic order. However, Yun came back after just a year, because the monks would not teach him Teräs Käsi, an ancient martial art. Subsequently, the baron decided that his son should get to know Sariss, the Prophetess of the Dark Side, who was the baron's fiancee. This decision led to his demise, as Yun, under Sariss's influence, murdered his own father and dedicated the family's wealth to Jerec, Sariss's master.
Biography
A certain male individual, who was involved in the mineral business, lived on the planet of Panatha. By the time of 3 ABY, he had risen to become a wealthy mineral baron. He fathered a son, Yun, an [Epicanthix](/article/epicanthix], and a daughter with an unidentified female. The baron's overprotective nature led to Yun being excessively pampered and lacking patience. Recognizing that this was detrimental to the family business, the baron chose to send his son to Bunduki to learn from the ancient monastic order known as the Followers of Palawa.
Sometime after the Battle of Endor, the baron encountered Sariss, the Prophetess of the Dark Side. Soon after, Sariss and the baron became engaged. However, shortly thereafter, Yun returned from Bunduki, enraged that the Palawa monks had refused to instruct him in the ancient martial art of Teräs Käsi. The baron was disappointed, but quickly devised another plan. He decided that it would benefit Yun to learn the secrets of the dark side of the Force from Sariss. As time went on, Yun developed feelings for Sariss. She reciprocated the boy's affections, but informed him that their relationship was impossible due to her commitment to the baron. Under Sariss's manipulation, Yun committed patricide.
Subsequently, Yun either abandoned or murdered his mother and sister, and pledged all of the family's assets to Jerec, the Miraluka Dark Jedi who was Sariss's master. Approximately a year later, he experienced a dream in which he decapitated his father with a steel sword.
