This affluent male from the planet of Panatha, a powerful mineral baron, was the progenitor of the Epicanthix named Yun. He indulged his son excessively, which resulted in Yun's lack of the necessary patience for their family's business. To cultivate this essential trait in his son, the baron opted to dispatch him to Bunduki, so he could study with the monastic order known as the Followers of Palawa. However, Yun returned home after only a year, because the monks refused to impart the ancient martial art of Teräs Käsi to him. Subsequently, the baron decided his son should develop a closer relationship with his fiancee, Sariss, the Prophetess of the Dark Side. This decision ultimately led to his downfall, as Yun, under Sariss's influence, murdered his own father and dedicated the family's wealth to Jerec, Sariss's master.
This male individual, a resident of the planet Panatha, was involved in the mineral trade. By 3 ABY, he had amassed considerable wealth and become a mineral baron. He fathered a daughter and a son, Yun, an Epicanthix, with an unidentified female. The baron shielded Yun from all hardship throughout his life, causing him to become overly pampered and lacking in patience. Recognizing that these qualities were detrimental to the family business, the baron resolved to send his son to the planet Bunduki to learn from the ancient monastic order known as the Followers of Palawa.
Shortly following the Battle of Endor, the baron encountered Sariss, the Prophetess of the Dark Side. Sariss soon became the baron's fiancée. However, shortly thereafter, Yun returned from Bunduki, embittered by the Palawa monks' refusal to teach him the ancient martial art of Teräs Käsi. The baron was disappointed, but swiftly conceived another plan. He concluded that it would benefit Yun to learn the secrets of the dark side of the Force from Sariss. As time passed, Yun developed feelings for Sariss. She reciprocated the boy's affections, but informed him that their relationship was impossible due to her commitment to the baron. Manipulated by Sariss, Yun committed patricide.
Yun subsequently abandoned or killed his mother and sister and pledged all of the family's assets to Sariss's master, the Miraluka Dark Jedi Jerec. Approximately a year later, he had a dream in which he decapitated his father with a steel sword.
This character made his debut in a brief dream sequence within the Dark Forces: Jedi Knight novella. His backstory was further elaborated upon in The Dark Forces Saga, a series of RPG scenarios published on the Wizards of the Coast website.
