Z-37, a pilot droid of the RX-series, belonged to Griebs Kishpaugh, a Commander within the Galactic Republic, during the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. The droid met its end when Banks, a clone trooper, came aboard Kishpaugh's shuttle, leveling accusations of treason against the Republic towards the Commander. During this confrontation, Kishpaugh accidentally fired his blaster, resulting in Z-37's destruction. Notably, it featured gold plating.
