The .48 Enforcer pistol, also referred to as the Enforcer pistol or the .48-caliber Enforcer, was a projectile-based firearm that saw limited production by the Morellian Weapons Conglomerate. Its use was restricted to the Morellian Enforcers. Outside of the black market, where it typically fetched prices exceeding six thousand credits, it was not available for purchase.
Functioning as the projectile counterpart to a powerful blaster pistol, the Enforcer held eight .48 caliber slugs. When a slug was fired, it emitted a loud, cannon-like crack. The slugs themselves possessed significant stopping power, capable of penetrating heavy personal armor and even damaging light vehicles, an event demonstrated when Barosa Warren destroyed an XP-38 sport landspeeder.
However, this power came at the cost of substantial recoil. Users required specialized training to prevent the weapon from being dislodged from their grip with each shot. With sufficient practice, accurate firing became achievable. Furthermore, specialized military training, like that provided to Morellian Enforcers, enabled rapid-fire capabilities. Even so, consistent practice was essential to maintain shot accuracy, as rapid firing could result in unpredictable shot placement.
Scoutmaster Barosa Warren favored this weapon, and thanks to his Morellian Enforcer training, he could unleash multiple shots in rapid succession.
