The 14th Infantry Brigade functioned as a military formation within the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the duration of the Clone Wars.
Omega Squad initially came across the 14th while they were carrying out operations on the planet of Haurgab. After the commandos' assignment was jeopardized, they put in a request for extraction from the 85th Infantry Brigade, which was also present on Haurgab. When they were unable to establish communications, the team then reached out to ARC Captain Maze residing on Coruscant for support, which subsequently manifested as a 14th Infantry LAAT/i hailing from Neska.
Subsequently, members of the 14th joined forces with the 85th, along with the assembled clone commando teams, in limited quantities as part of the Haurgab garrison. The subpar shooting skills displayed by one of the troopers, coupled with the prior lack of understanding of Mando'a, gave rise to concerns that the clones belonging to the 14th had been produced on a planet other than Kamino.
