The Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Embossed Metal Collector Cards represent a set of six trading cards produced in limited quantities by Metallic Impressions during 1997. These cards were launched as a component of the broader multimedia initiative, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. The front of each of the six cards in the collection displayed color images replicating the cover art of each of the six editions of the Shadows of the Empire comic series. On the reverse side of each card, you could find a story summary from the corresponding comic issue, accompanied by a reproduced panel from the comic itself.
