The Confederate Navy's 28th Flight was comprised of Vulture-class battle droids colored dark-blue and light-gray that—as with the Vulture droids of 31st Flight—had less accurate weapons, but greater defensive capabilities, than the droid starfighters of 72nd Flight and 128th Flight.
The 28th Flight group of droid starfighters fought during the Clone Wars for the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
28th Flight was represented with a miniature in the initial release of the Star Wars PocketModel TCG in June 2007.
