The Confederate Navy's 72nd Flight was comprised of light- and dark-gray–colored Vulture-class battle droids that—as with the Vulture droids of 128th Flight—had more accurate targeting systems, but less defensive capabilities, than the droid starfighters of 28th Flight and 31st Flight.
The 72nd Flight group of droid starfighters fought during the Clone Wars for the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
72nd Flight was represented with a miniature in the initial release of the Star Wars PocketModel TCG on June 19, 2007.
