The 64-Y Swift 3 Repulsorlift Sled was a product of the Aratech Repulsor Company.
The 64-Y Swift 3 Repulsorlift Sled, a creation of the Aratech Repulsor Company, was a rapid and lightweight repulsorlift sled. It embraced a design philosophy akin to the swoop bike, prioritizing "engine with a seat" simplicity. With a length of 4.1 meters, its sophisticated engineering eliminated the requirement for cumbersome directional vanes to aid in steering. This allowed the solitary rider to assume a more comfortable, upright posture, utilizing handlebars and foot pedals for control. Achieving velocities of eight hundred kilometers per hour and a maximum altitude of twenty-five meters, the Swift 3 could surpass nearly anything except an airspeeder in terms of speed. Its modular architecture enabled engineers to adapt the sled for diverse mission requirements. Notably, the repulsor coils incorporated in the Swift 3 were constructed from refined durelium, a material prohibited in civilian vehicles.
The Swift 3 featured a Mk 2e/S medium blaster cannon mounted at the front, along with a solitary clamping hook launcher, and drop nets deployed from a compartment located beneath the sled. The rider would maneuver the vehicle over a designated target, releasing the nets. These nets would ensnare the target vehicle, emitting brief pulses designed to disrupt its repulsor fields. By drawing energy from the repulsor field, the net induced the target vehicle to crash. Furthermore, the sled was outfitted with advanced scanning and communications jamming systems. With a cargo capacity of four kilograms and provisions for one day's worth of sustenance, the Y-64 had a new purchase price of 8,000 credits, while used models could be acquired for 1,800 credits.

Army Command originally requested the Swift 3 to address the growing problem of swoop gangs that were causing havoc on planets throughout the Outer Rim Territories. Due to its outstanding performance, the Swift 3 was integrated into units alongside speeder bikes and All Terrain Scout Transport teams. It served as a patrol vehicle on planets under Imperial control.
During the months that followed the conclusion of the Clone Wars, a 64-Y was actively used on Sel Zonn Station, an XQ2 Platform that orbited Brentaal IV, a Core World. The Empire utilized it for transporting sensitive cargo and for impromptu defense against a contingent of Alderaanian Resistance operatives.
Brinaloy N'Vaari, a Devaronian engaged to A'jidre Skrigatov, possessed a significantly customized Swift 3 adorned with crimson flames and black racing stripes. To evade her impending marriage to Skrigatov, N'Vaari went into hiding and compensated Al T. Nadder to repaint the Swift 3 in an iridescent green hue with purple racing stripes. Subsequently, she exchanged the Swift 3 for a hydrobike at Phluche's Hydrobike Rentals, paying Phluche Maltrid, the Herglic proprietor, one hundred credits to refrain from selling it for a minimum of six days.
On the planet Stend VI, a specialized Storm Commando squad known as the Dark Riders, commanded by Lieutenant Irlyn Resk, was established. Their mission was to suppress the numerous swoop gangs present on the planet, and they employed Swift 3s in conjunction with modified Ikas-Adno XR-10 Shadowhawks. Chop Harlison, a swoop tech expert stationed in Gallisport on Shesharile 5, incorporated repulsor coils sourced from a Swift 3 into the construction of his unique prototype swoop, the Star Slinger.
