Accuser was a customized 720 light freighter in the possession of Kal-tan-shi, a Tiss'shar bounty hunter and assassin. He obtained the ship from a target located within the Lesser Plooriod Cluster. House Paramexor, his previous employers, initiated alterations to the vessel, however, he departed from their service to operate independently before the upgrades were finalized.
Because Kal-tan-shi lacked mechanical expertise, he made efforts to prevent damage to the ship during his hunts, and did not complete the modifications himself. Despite accumulating sufficient credits from delivering Rebel escapees to the Imperial forces to finance further modifications to Accuser, it is thought that he was never able to dedicate the time to doing so.
