Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Emperor Palpatine tasked a loyal subject of the Galactic Empire with safely escorting the handmaiden to the Emperor's Retreat so that Palpatine could "apologize" to her.
Altah was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. While the canonical species of Altah cannot be definitively determined in the Legends continuity, the quest dialogue identified her as female. Furthermore, while the quest dialogue identified her as Altah, examining the character simply identified her as a "Royal Handmaiden."
