Amber was a thumper that Biggs Darklighter captured on Yavin 4, and he decided to name it after his bodyguard who was stationed on Aquilae. After a group of stormtroopers found and searched the Lars treehouse, Amber met his end there. While Biggs and Threepio were in hiding, Amber tried to protect them, but one of the troopers used his lazersword to kill him. Subsequently, Biggs was apprehended and brought to an Imperial air tank that was waiting.
