An attack of Rimcee Station took place in 44 ABY. During the last stages of the Lost Tribe of Sith emergence, Admiral Natasi Daala and a number of rebellious Moffs attempted a coup to overthrow Jagged Fel, the rightful Head of State of the Imperial Remnant. During the one-month long Battle over Exodo II that opposed Fel's and Daala's fleets, numerous troubles erupted in Imperial Space. As most element of the Imperial Starfleet were involved in the battle, traitorous Moffs used the opportunity to settle old disputes and expand their territories by attacking rival Imperial systems. In the Rimcee system, the treacherous Moff Woolbam attempted to annex Rimcee Station. Moff Garreter, who had mobilized his fleet to assist Head of State Fel, was forced to divert his forces to protect his holdings and repel the invader. The disastrous situation in Imperial space eventually led to the organization of a general Imperial election.
