Battery-pack parasite droids were diminutive automatons designed to resemble battery packs utilized by blaster rifles, and are classified as droids. In the year 44 ABY, Wraith Squadron employed these droids by attaching them to several Galactic Alliance Army blaster rifles to aid in their inquiry concerning General Stavin Thaal. These droids possessed a restricted power supply, the ability to function autonomously, and the capability to override other basic droids. For the purpose of reconnaissance, the droids incorporated sensors and burst-transmitters.
