When Colonel Abal Karda, an enemy of the Empire on the run for the murder of his commanding offcer arrived on the station aboard the freighter Port-Esta Queen, he visited Rees's shop to acquire a disguise. The tattooist marked Karda's face with the tribal patterns of the Duhma, and the fugitive colonel paid for his service with Icarii jewels. Rees subsequently changed them into cash, which the bounty hunter Boba Fett used as a clue in his pursuit of Karda.
