Cellheim Anujo

Biography

Cellheim Anujo was an aide to Quarren Senator Tundra Dowmeia, who was one of the representatives of the planet Mon Cala in the Galactic Republic's Senate toward the end of the Clone Wars. Dowmeia was a member of the Delegation of 2,000, which meant the Quarren needed the aide to be loyal, willing to keep many secrets, and ready to protect the senator during such dark and dangerous times.

After the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY, Anujo and Dowmeia were part of a group that gathered on the landing platform of the Senate Office Building on the planet Coruscant in order to greet Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, who had been rescued from the Separatist General Grievous during the battle by the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The reception moved forward as Palpatine disembarked from a Util-313 speeder bus and then followed the chancellor into the Senate Building.

Cellheim Anujo was portrayed by both T.V. Moore and Dean Mitchell.

Cellheim Anujo appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, which was released on May 19, 2005. T.V. Moore portrayed the character during filming in Australia, where the landing platform scene was filmed on Stage 3 at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 22, 2003. Dean Mitchell then portrayed the character in scenes later shot at Shepperton Studios in the United Kingdom. For the second take, director George Lucas informed Mitchell that the shot would be starting focused on Anujo, but that take was not used in the final version of the film. The shear weight of the fabrics in the Anujo costume caused Mitchell to get very hot while filming, but due to the size of Anujo's cloth headpiece, Mitchell was able to take it off between takes to cool down.

In the current Star Wars canon, Cellheim Anujo was identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. The name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first used in the reference book Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars, which was written by Trisha Biggar and published on October 11, 2005.
