Chelidae

Chelidae were a sentient species indigneous to the planet Castilon. While amphibious, they preferred to live above the water. They were enclosed in a natural protective shell, and the males sported facial hair while the females did not. Chelidae were able to slow down their life systems. A group of chelidae served as engineers on the space station Colossus.
