The common ibbot, also known as the brown ibbot, was one of sixty-eight species of ibbot bird native to the Core Worlds planet Drall. Though it initially evolved to fill a particular role in Drall's ecosystem, the common ibbot was eventually domesticated by Drall's natives in order to supplement their diet. The bird could be prepared in many different ways and tasted mild and slightly salty when eaten. Members of the Drall species often described off-world foods as tasting like ibbot.
