Unidentified Theed woman 1

A woman, a Human, resided in Theed, a city located on the tranquil planet of Naboo, together with her son. She possessed light-skinned complexion along with brown hair and eyes. In 32 BBY, the Trade Federation invaded Naboo, and during the Trade Federation Droid Army's entry into Theed, the mother and son were separated. While the boy sought refuge in a nearby kitchen, the mother returned to their residence, awaiting his eventual return.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Padawan, encountered the mother while he was escorting the Queen of Naboo through Theed. The Jedi entered her dwelling. Overcome with distress, the woman shared her predicament with Kenobi. Agreeing to assist, the Jedi located her son in close proximity and brought the boy back to his mother. In gratitude, the mother bid Kenobi "May the Force be with you," and gifted the Jedi a medpac.

Subsequently, during the concluding phases of the invasion, the Queen entered the woman's home and discovered a concealed blaster cannon.

Behind the scenes

The woman is a character in the Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace video game, the video game adaptation released in 1999 of the Episode I film. During the game's fifth mission, the player, assuming the role of Kenobi, has the opportunity to meet this woman. The player is presented with several dialogue choices to engage in conversation with the woman and can opt to search for her son or decline to offer assistance. This article operates under the assumption that the player successfully located the boy and facilitated his return. The game's strategy guide provides instructions on how to successfully complete the side-quest. She reappears in the game's ninth mission, situated within her home, when the player assumes the role of Amidala. Carolyn Seymour provides the voice for the character referred to as "Concerned Mother."
