Din Djarin's teacher

An unnamed person served as the instructor for Din Djarin when Djarin was a foundling saved by the Children of the Watch. This instructor accompanied Djarin on his travels after Djarin began his training as a Mandalorian apprentice, continuing until Djarin achieved the status of a fully fledged Mandalorian.

Following the recapture of Mandalore, Din declared that Grogu would now be his apprentice, requesting his inclusion in the Song. The Armorer responded that due to Grogu's inability to speak from a young age, he was not yet ready to accept the Creed, and therefore must remain a foundling. Djarin countered by stating that with parental consent, Grogu could become an apprentice, but the Armorer indicated that his parents are nowhere nearby, perhaps not even living.

Subsequently, Djarin adopted Grogu as his own child, thereby providing the necessary permission for Grogu to become an apprentice. The Armorer then proclaimed that Grogu would henceforth be known as Din Grogu, a Mandalorian apprentice. The tribe signaled their agreement with the phrase "This is the Way." The Armorer then tasked Din with departing Mandalore and embarking on travels with his apprentice, mirroring the mentorship he himself had received.
