For seven years, the Dark Jedi Kibh Jeen and his army of pirates brought terror to the inhabitants of the Cularin system and eventually, the Jedi Order dispatched two Jedi to the system, to bring the conflict to a resolution. After forging the system's inhabitants and trading concerns into an effective fighting force, they lured Jeen's army into a trap. In a fiercely-fought space battle, the pirates were defeated and Jeen was overwhelmed. The Jedi maneuvered him into a vulnerable position and cut him down, liberating the system from his deprivations.
