G was a male Caarite who worked for the Metatheran Cartel trading concern at a base on the moon Tilnes during the Clone Wars. Circa 21 BBY, G was exposed to an experimental virus and transformed into a maddened mutant being. In his altered state he was subsequently coerced by the Believer Sith cultists Aris and Osia into attacking a team of freelance agents who investigated the Cartel Tilnes base.
G was the moniker of a Caarite male who worked for the Metatheran Cartel trading concern at a secret base on the moon Tilnes during the last years of the Galactic Republic. Circa 21 BBY, an experimental virus designed to be fatal to Caarites was released within the Cartel's Tilnes facility by the Believers Sith cult and every member of the base's staff, including G, was infected with the contagion. By a fluke of fate, G and two other Caarites, Ko Bas and U, survived exposure to the virus and were mutated into enlarged, maddening beings with little capacity for reason.
Trapped within the base, G and his two fellow mutants stuck to the deeper regions of the installation and kept away from the facility's front room. The mutants fed from the bodies of their former co-workers felled by the virus and in attempt to limit the decay of their food supply they transferred many of the corpses to a large room at the base's southern side with a cooler temperature that the rest of the facility. In spite of this effort, over the following days the mutants' food supply became increasingly scarce.
On a mission to review the results of the dispersal of the anti-Caarite virus, a Believer strike team ventured to the Cartel Tilnes base two weeks after the initial release of the contagion. At this time, G and U were abiding within the installation's security office; there the pair crossed paths with the Believers Aris and Osia, who were desperately seeking a place to hide after being attacked by Ko Bas. The two Believers pacified the mutant Caarites by speaking to them in the native Caarite language and through the use of the Force to influence their minds, thereby bring G and U under the control of the Believers.
Three hours after the coming of the Believer strike team to the base, the heroes of Cularin—a group of freelance agents agents—journeyed to the Cartel base. The Believer pair devised to prevent the operatives from exiting the base with evidence of the anti-Caarite virus and G and U accompanied Aris and Osia to the front room of the facility to stage an ambush. In the resulting melee, Osia instructed the mutant Caarites to kill the freelance agents and G and U attacked the agents. The mutants and the Believer duo were subsequently defeated and the heroes of Cularin succeeded at escaping the base.
G was substantially transformed by his contact with the anti-Caarite virus and he was mutated into a large, raging being. His conversion left him in an unreasonable state of mind and also caused him to gain immunity to further exposure to the Believers's virus. In his altered condition, G was of similar physical strength to the mutant Caarite U but was weaker than Ko Bas. While at one time he could read and write the languages Basic, Caarite and Filordian, following his mutation G could comprehend only Caarite.
G made his first and only appearance within Star Wars Legends continuity in Caaried Away, a 2003 roleplaying module by Morrie Mullins that formed part of the Metatheran Caution trilogy of RPGA's Living Force campaign.
In Caaried Away, the players roleplay as the heroes of Cularin and it is possible for G to be defeated or killed in his encounter with the freelance agents. It is alternatively possible or for the player characters to be immobilized by the G, U and the two Believers, in which case G and U subsequently depart from the Cartel base with Aris and Osia. The adventure also suggests that the player characters could take an interest in G and U from a research perspective and seek to study them to further the freelance agents' understanding of the virus. It is also suggested in Caaried Away that if the player characters are of a low roleplaying experience tier then either G or U can be omitted from the adventure entirely.
