An ion bomb
Explosive ion bombs were utilized by certain starships, for example, the Ghost. This ship employed homemade ion bombs to strike ground-based vehicles. During the war between the Resistance and the First Order, some T-70 X-wing starfighters were outfitted with ion bombs.
The Ghost, a modified rebel VCX-100 light freighter, made use of bombs that had a spherical form. They functioned as powerful explosives, capable of causing damage to heavily armored vehicles, including All Terrain Defense Pods and Imperial Troop Transports.
