Jedi Convocation

Jedi Convocations, also known as Jedi assemblies or Jedi conclaves, represented meetings of individuals belonging to the Jedi Order that occurred during critical times. It was customary for Jedi to be called to these convocations via a Force call. Due to the fact that these gatherings often presented appealing, though dangerous, opportunities for the Jedi's adversaries, convocations happened infrequently.

Beginning in 3997 BBY, the esteemed Jedi Master Odan-Urr held the role of spokesperson for the Jedi assemblies for a period of six hundred years. Following the death of Master Urr, the custom of selecting a prominent member of the Order to serve as spokesperson persisted, with Jedi Masters Nomi Sunrider and Luke Skywalker assuming the position. However, following the Conclave on Katarr, which was disrupted when Darth Nihilus absorbed and eliminated nearly all life on the planet, large-scale Convocations ceased to occur.
