During the Despot War, Knool Tandor and neighboring cities sustained significant damage when the Je'daii Order launched an assault against the manufacturing domes of Nox. In the aftermath of the war, many of the survivors from several of the neighboring cities immigrated to Knool Tandor to start over and recover. During the Stargazer Uprising, Dalien Brock arranged for a deception to be played on Knool Tandor to cover his tracks in Greenwood Station. Dispatching one of his Stargazer cultists to the city with a Je'daii sword, Brock ordered his assassin to target some of the industrial elites of the city and publicly execute them. Meanwhile, Brock leaked information implicating the Je'daii Council's secret dealings with the clandestine weapons laboratories of , hidden in the bowels of Greenwood Station. This ruse worked all too well, causing the defense forces of Knool Tandor to launch an assault on Greenwood Station to cover the Stargazers' retreat from Nox. Battle droids from Knool Tandor descended on the rival city in what would be remembered as the .
