Lurval was a male Talz who lived on the planet Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he resided in Mos Eisley and worked at the Spaceport Cantina. In 1 ABY, the cantina owner Chalmun hired a clumsy waiter who kept smashing glasses. In order to help Chalmun, one of his friend named Gendra paid the services of a trader to craft new glassware. The spacer crafted seven new glasses and delivered them directly to Lurval at the cantina.
Lurval was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Lurval was added to the game upon the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
