It was located in a rundown part of town near Nobadnobaya, Xyx'w'zwQuqu, Champio Muni, New Vertica, and the Red Sector. It was founded many years ago by a man named Paolo who died decades before 19 BBY. During the early days of the Empire, the chop shop was operated by a female Dressellian named Zegundis and a male Kaleesh named Ishtah. Following the birth of Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi landed on Nar Shaddaa in General Grievous' starfighter Soulless One so he could sell the ship and find passage to Tatooine. He would sell the ship at Paolo's Chop Shop after a Pacithhip docking bay attendant named Shnozitskigante-maximilliana recommended it to him.
