During the Mandalorian Civil War between Mandalore the Avenger's faction and the Hidden Chain splinter faction, Hidden Chain forces led by Tyrus Brokenblade raided the settlement of Kessan's Landing on Ord Mantell in order to capture hostages and obtain coolant rods from the local geothermal plant. The Mandalorians raiders and their Mantellian Separatist allies were eventually defeated by the Commander of the Eternal Alliance. While the Commander was able to prevent them escaping with half their desired assets, the Mandalorians managed to escape with the other half while they fought Brokenblade.
