The Reidi Artom I system was the first system discovered by Reidi Artom and was named after her. Systems she discovered later were named in similar fashion (Reidi Artom II, III, IV, V, and VI). Most of these systems were eventually renamed with local or ancient names, but the planet Artom retained its discoverer's name. The discovery of this system was not particularly profitable for its discoverer.
