Sakanga Shai, a member of the Yuuzhan Vong and belonging to the Warrior caste, hailed from Domain Shai. By the time the Yuuzhan Vong War began, Sakanga's advanced age rendered him unable to participate in combat, giving him a mummy-like look. Consequently, he found himself stationed on the Worldship Baanu Miir, where he voiced his disapproval to Prefect Ona Shai and Adept Nen Yim regarding the tragic deaths of four thousand Yuuzhan Vong inhabitants caused by a muscle spasm triggered by the Baanu Miir's rikyam.
