Sand People Carving

The carving Etched into the cavern walls of northern Jundland on Tatooine was the Sand People Carving, an ancient artifact. The Tusken Raiders, native to the planet, were responsible for its creation, claiming it depicted the early history of Tatooine itself. These carvings took the form of four murals, which told a tale of a time long ago when the desert world was a flourishing, green planet. In this bygone era, four distinct races coexisted peacefully, until a cataclysmic event struck the world. This disaster caused the extinction of the first race, while the second race, the Jawas, sought refuge in underground shelters. The third race was the Sand People, who managed to survive, along with the fourth race. In the aftermath, the early Sand People engaged in a conflict with the fourth race, ultimately leading to their destruction.

During the time of the Cold War, Jedi Master Eriz Vossan journeyed to Tatooine as part of a cultural immersion program with the native Jawas, an initiative of the Jedi Order. Tragically, he was among several Jedi who succumbed to a dark plague created by Vivicar. This experience fueled an obsession within him to discover the ultimate warrior species, those capable of enduring the harsh realities of Tatooine. Eventually, he visited the Sand People Carving, where he meticulously studied the murals. From them, he concluded that the Tusken Raiders represented the pinnacle of survival warriors. He became convinced that their philosophy of achieving strength through the sacrifice of the weak was a necessary policy for the Galactic Republic to adopt in order to triumph over the Sith Empire.

While searching for Master Vossan, The Scorekeeper's Herald came across the Carving, where he discovered Eriz's conclusions before confronting him about his actions.
