Sheelya, a female Human from Corellia, existed during the Galactic Civil War era. She was the spouse of an individual serving within the Corellian Security Force. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin, while her husband was away on duty, Sheelya's house keys were stolen by some Greck criminals. Consequently, a reporter friend from the Corellian Times employed a spacer, a freelance pilot, to assist Sheelya in retrieving her keys. The spacer successfully overcame the criminals, returning the keys to Sheelya, only for her to discover that her house had been sold in the interim. The spacer then informed CorSec Captain Dool, the commanding officer of Sheelya's husband, about the situation.
Sheelya's existence is indicated by directory tree files associated with Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, the 2003 video game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game brought to players by LucasArts and developed by Sony Online Entertainment, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. These files, which were included in the "Publish 28," update on April 26, 2006, suggest that Sheelya was intended to be located in Coronet and featured in a quest titled "Helping Sheelya." However, Sheelya never actually appeared as a functional non-player character on the game's active servers. Nevertheless, an emulated representation derived from this character's Interchange File Format provides a glimpse of what she would have looked like had she been implemented in the game.
