The Shwuy Perimeter was an astrographical location. It shared its name with the Colonies' Shwuy sector as well as the Shwuy Exchange, a Colonies hyperlane traveling through the sector.
At some point during the reign of the Galactic Empire, a small merchant starship operated along the Shwuy Perimeter as well as in the Outer Rim Territories' Parmic sector. Trading there was slow and encumbered by Imperial taxes. The trader vessel's crew, which included a navigator, eventually turned to smuggling and planetside raids to supplement its income. The crew finally scattered after getting caught by an Imperial patrol during one of its raids, with the navigator eventually becoming a pirate and supposedly a member of the Khuiumin Survivors pirate group.
The Shwuy Perimeter was mentioned in "Entering 'The Life'," a short companion narrative included in the 1997 sourcebook Pirates & Privateers. The book was authored by Timothy S. O'Brien and published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
