In the Imperial storyline, the Commander, Darth Krovos, and Darth Rivix met TL-30 when they defeated a gargantuan graul on their way to investigate the whereabouts of Darth Malgus in the caves of the Dantooine Jedi Enclave. TL-30 explained that Malgus held the droid hostage and had the droid keep Malgus alive while he considered his next moves after going rogue. Malgus dumping TL-30 in the caves with the graul. In the end, the player has to option to dismantle the droid for its memory banks related to Malgus or help repair the droid to let it escape on its own.
