Unidentified clone trooper (Brighthome)

Shortly after the recapture of Vader's starship in 19 BBY, a clone trooper, serving as one of the Galactic Empire's first stormtroopers, was stationed aboard the Jedi space station Brighthome. The soldier led several other former clone troopers against a perceived Jedi, who was in reality Sith apprentice Darth Vader. In the ensuing fight, all of the clone stormtroopers were killed. The trooper had slightly modified phase II clone trooper armor, with an enlarged shoulder pad armor.

Serving on Brighthome

In 19 BBY, shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, the clone trooper served as a stormtrooper of the Galactic Empire, further serving the commanding officer of a garrison of fellow clones sent to the Brighthome, a Jedi outpost in the Mid Rim. The troops were tasked with collecting and archiving the artifacts within the space station. As two clones, Ding and Kicker, were bickering at what lay ahead now that the war was over, the stormtrooper was observing an unknown starship approaching via hologram, leading to the officer ordering both to pay attention due to the incoming target. The vessel was in fact the starship of Sith apprentice Darth Vader, the disciple of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.

Having been ordered by Palpatine, actually Sith Master Darth Sidious, to find a living Jedi to take their kyber crystal and hoping to access a Jedi databank, Vader chose not to give the authorization codes for Brighthome and instead kill the stormtrooper force at the station. Vader engaged the four security ARC-170 starfighters, destroying them. After witnessing the feat by a display screen onboard the station, the stormtroopers remarked that they were astonished on the skills of the pilot. Before one could suggest, the stormtrooper stated to the others not to even mention that the pilot was a Jedi, as they were all dead. The trooper continued, and informed the others that whoever the pilot was, he managed to deactivate the station's security protocols and that he was going to dock. The trooper ordered the others that they had to defend the Brighthome and to head to the hangar deck immediately. As Vader was almost finished breaching a security door, the stormtrooper told the others to ready themselves and that he was about to breach.

Death

As Vader busted through the door, the officer ordered the others to eliminate the threat, and Vader used Force deflection to defend against the incoming lasers, while using the Force to kill several stormtroopers, despite being hit several times. The stormtrooper ordered the others to keep up the pressure and concentrate fire as Vader killed more stormtroopers and used the Force to collect a green-bladed lightsaber from a wall in the room. As Vader cut through several more clone stormtroopers, the stormtrooper ordered the remaining troopers to fall back to another level and regroup.

Before the officer could finish calling out the order, however, Vader sliced the stormtrooper across the abdomen, killing the clone. The clone's body was left abandoned on the ground as Vader dropped the Jedi blade and moved to access the databank. The only two survivors of Vader's rampage were Ding and Kicker, who cornered Vader as his droid searched the system for any Barash Vow-takers with a grenade. However, Vader left back the explosion and soon Force choked both, killing Ding and Kicker before leaving the grenade to explode. As Vader left the Brighthome in his starship, secure with the knowledge of a Barash-taker named Kirak Infil'a, the station was left a lifeless ruin.

Personality and traits

As a human clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, the clone trooper measured at 1.83 meters. With the activation of their behavioral modification biochips, most clones, in a showcase of their obedience, returned their armor to its basic, all white form, instead of retaining individual modifications and colors. Despite indeed wearing an all-white suit, officer's armor had a scratch over the helmet and an enlarged shoulder pad, setting the clone apart from the rest of the garrison, in the aftermath of Order 66.

Despite some minor armor cosmetics, the officer was loyal to the Empire until the end.

Despite some minor armor cosmetics, the officer was loyal to the Empire until the end.

Despite that, the officer, as enforced by the biochips in the heads of all clones, was still loyal to the new Empire and regarded the Jedi Order as a threat. As leader of the Brighthome garrison, the officer took the duty Ding found to be boring seriously, even snapping for Ding and Kicker to stop talking so they could focus on the incoming starship that belonged to Vader. The officer could not believe that Vader, unaware of who he was, could be a Jedi. The clone trooper instead believed that all of the Jedi had all been killed. Unconcerned, the stormtrooper led their forces against the threat, trying to defend the station despite the odds until the end.

Skills and abilities

Despite facing unfavorable odds and an unknown enemy, the stormtrooper held their ground and was able to order fellow stormtroopers until their death.

Equipment

The stormtrooper was equipped with a slightly modified set of phase II clone trooper armor. A cut on the helmet intersected the visor on the right side, and had large shoulder pad armor. The trooper utilized a blaster rifle during combat.

Behind the scenes

The stormtrooper first appeared, albeit unnamed, in Darth Vader (2017) 2, a canon comic written by Charles Soule and penciled by Giuseppe Camuncoli that was released in 2017.
