The surface of the moon lay barren except for intermediate low-lying vegetation. Shallow valleys carved through the ground and rocks jutted up from beneath the surface all along the terrain.
Small, blue reptilian creatures with four limbs dwelt on the surface.
By 19 BBY, the moon orbited its planet in such a way that the moon remained continually in the planet's shadow, creating a perpetual twilight upon the world's surface. Abandoned ruins remained standing on the surface as evidence of a previous civilization.
Also at this time the moon acted as the site for a duel between Jedi Shadow Celeste Morne and Sith Lord Darth Vader. The duel ended with Celeste harnessing the power of the Muur Talisman, which she possessed and used to transform Vader's stormtroopers into rakghouls. Vader then fled the planet, leaving Celeste stranded.
