An enemy of the Chiss Ascendancy, the nation of the Unknown Regions Chiss species, once fought the Asendancy in a war centuries after 5019 BBY. The enemy of the Chiss species was able to capture all the Chiss worlds but their homeworld of Csilla before pushing the Chiss, who knew they could not fight back, back to their homeworld and bringing together their fleet and armies for one final assault. The Chiss, facing extinction, decided to use the alien superweapon known as Starflash, bringing it aboard a starship in the middle of the enemy fleet before activating it, sending tachyonic energy at Csilla's sun while returning a powerful blast at the enemies of the Chiss.
