Welcome to Adamwankenobi's talk page! Today is August 1, 2024.
Some time ago you added an appearance to the Boonta article stating it was mentioned in the Droids episode "The White Witch". I've watched the episode and can't find the mention. Do you remember approximately where in the episode you heard it? --Imperialles 06:36, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. --Imperialles 06:59, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
Help me Adamwankenobi, you are my only hope. Long ago, you edited Bolvan and Mulchive Wermis based on a Visual Guide picture. Unfortunately, this picture is no further availible and is not archived. Have you saved it? Do you know, where to find it? Do you remember the picture? AFAIK, there is no other source, which identifies the black-uniformed man in the escape pod scene of ANH as Bolvan. Hi,
I found some errors in the Plot Summary:
It currently reads: “Gen. Mundi gunship is hit and mundi is wounded”.
It should read: “Gen. Mundi’s gunship is hit and Mundi is wounded.”
Thanks,
Ethan Derth
Hello. As I've seen you are the author responsible for the information about the placement of the battles in the Wookieepedia article Star Wars: Clone Wars (original edit: ). I'd like to know where you got these information from (see Forum:KB:Tythe and Nelvaan). It would be great if you could help me. Thanks in advance! — Isthisthedroidiamlookingfor 14:05, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, Adam! A long time ago, you added The New Essential Guide to Droids to the "Sources" list of G2-3B. I've been searching for him in that book, and I can't find any mention of him. Indeed, the text-searchable version available on Amazon finds nothing either. Do you happen to remember where he's mentioned? It's apparently not in the G2 repair droid entry, nor in the EV-series supervisor/interrogator droid entry. Any idea? Thanks, ~Savage 15:34, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, Adam! I'll check that out when I get back home to my books. ~Savage 16:34, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
Hey, Adam -- me again. I notice you also added Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina as a possible appearance to the RX-24 article. I can't' find any mention of him, though. Do you happen to remember in what capacity he may be mentioned? Thanks again! ~Savage 17:45, May 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Ditto for The Cinema of George Lucas. Thanks! ~Savage 17:54, May 1, 2012 (UTC)
Hi there, I saw that you added a cleanup tag to Battlefront II. What kind of things did you recognize that needed fixed? Corellian Premier 23:18, May 28, 2012 (UTC)
Would you be interested in joining WP:NOVELS. Get back to me if you are. We could use someone like you. DarthRevan1173 (Long live Lord Revan) 02:29, September 4, 2012 (UTC)
I rolled back your edit to Catarine Towani because it removed the entire article, save for the sources. I assume that that was not your intention, and may have been a bug, as similar things have happened to me. Trak Nar 05:48, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
- I see we've come to a similar conclusion. Yeah, that bug happens from time to time. Trak Nar 05:49, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
You crazy kid, you're finally the Wookieepedian of the Month! You've been doing fantastic and essential work on this site for more than eight years, and I for one am honored to have your name displayed on the Main Page for the next thirty days. Congratulations! Menkooroo (talk) 04:06, December 2, 2013 (UTC)
Just so you know, "soundtrack" doesn't have to refer to an album release of a score for visual media. Every album is technically a soundtrack, and since there are only a couple albums on this site that aren't for visual media, it's best to just include them all in the same category. MasterFred 23:15, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
- No problem. Also, I'm leaving certain things in the original "Real world music" category so it'd be easier to TC them all at once. MasterFred 23:20, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
There have been conflicting reports as to what the shorts are; we cannot say for certain that these are standalone, and they will likely be merged with their respective episodes once they are announced. There is no point nor is it necessary to make a category for them until we have more information. Cade Calrayn 02:32, August 20, 2014 (UTC)
- OK, gotcha. :) Adamwankenobi () 02:34, August 20, 2014 (UTC)
Hi, Adam. Cast your mind, if you will, back to the golden days of 2007, when you edited the Holiday Special page to include a bit about a luggage tag. To my mind, and verified by the Internet, a "luggage tag" is that thing you attach to your luggage handle giving contact information in the unlucky circumstance that your bag flies to a different city than you. Is this the gizmo your edit is referring to? I ask because you claim this thing is 4" x 25", a ludicrous size for a luggage tag. Was the 25 a typo? (4x5" is a believable size.) Or are you describing some other sort of luggage adornment, perhaps some sort of long, narrow strip that goes along the entire side of a bag? Unfortunately, your cited source is gone from both StarWars.com and the Internet Archive, so I can't just look at the depicted item. Thanks! Asithol (talk) 04:33, June 23, 2015 (UTC)
- Haha, yeah, I read that passage four or five times before the numbers clicked and I thought, "wait, that doesn't sound right." :-) And apparently no one else has noticed it in the time since then, either! Asithol (talk) 22:27, June 24, 2015 (UTC)
- While we're on the topic (or were, a few months ago), do you happen to know how to indicate that a reference link is no longer valid? If you don't, I can poke around in Wookieepedia's policy pages and templates to look for an answer, but if you know offhand, that'll save me some time. Thanks! Asithol (talk) 22:48, November 28, 2015 (UTC)
Hi :)

As you were clearly warned by the AbuseFilter, this and this are unacceptable until all of the Legends links here and here as well have been fixed. Cade Calrayn 00:13, January 6, 2016 (UTC)
If this is about the "Drumpfs" thing, I blame it on my web outlet that changes every "trump" to "drumpf". (thanks John Oliver!) GrandChewbacca (talk) 17:56, October 23, 2016 (UTC)
Hello, adamwankenobi. Could u please update the Star Wars Rebels Season 4 page with the word that Season 4 is actually 16 episodes long, not 15 as initially reported? Lucasfilm's Tracy Cannobbio confirmed it was actually 16 on her Twitter. I'd send u the link, but, I can't since this wiki isn't letting me get through. Just fine her Twitter account, @Tcann13, and you'll see the tweet where she says Season 4 is actually 16 episodes long. Please let me know when u have done it. Thanks.

Hey! I fixed up the trash compactor nominations, so you just need to add your vote to the delete option --Lewisr (talk) 16:33, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
- No worries! Yeah I felt the same way when I made my first nomination too --Lewisr (talk) 16:36, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
Mplaya3 () 22:59, September 5, 2017 (UTC) Hello very nice to meet, well we lost another Star Wars director.{{Eras|real}}
Hi Adamwankenobi,
This question doesn't serve for the Wookieepedia, but I wanted to ask you this.
Via Wayback Machine, I noticed that you asked questions to Leland Chee about the canon of the Indycron continuity database. But these blogs doesn't seem to exist anymore. My question is this: The blogs changed their link direction or ceased to exist? The thing is that I want to ask Leland Chee some questions about the Indycron like you did but I don't know how I can.
Thank you!
Hi, your edits to Star Wars Resistance were made when there was an {{Inuse}} tag on it. Please note that tag in the future since it means someone is actively working on the page, and other edits should be avoided in order to prevent edit conflicts. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea 15:45, April 26, 2018 (UTC)
To properly satisfy the verification issue on Patrick Gleeson (and indeed all OOU articles), you need to list a Bibliography or External links section just like you would an Appearances or Sources section for an in-universe article. The Bibliography section is the OOU equivalent of the Sources section; you should list all officially licensed sources there that mention Patrick Gleeson's name, such as TV episodes where he is mentioned in the credits. Please remember this for all future OOU articles you decide to create. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:55, May 6, 2019 (UTC)
What happened to the VisualEditor. When I edit pages it just goes to the Classic editor what happened.
Hi Adam, once again I remind you to avoid editing on pages that have the {{Inuse}} template. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:23, August 7, 2019 (UTC)
Just a heads up, Disney fan news sites like MiceChat and WDWNT are unofficial and often unreliable. We shouldn’t be using them as sources for our articles. Thanks for showing interest in SWGE content, though! MasterFred 19:13, August 13, 2019 (UTC)
Hey there! Just wanted to reach out to make sure you checked your email today. You should find a message from Fandom that needs some action from you today (Sunday). Thanks!
Hey, Adam! I'm currently revamping Wookieepedia:WookieeProject Ewoks, and I'd love to get your participation if you're interested. Thanks! - Cwedin 06:34, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
While your edit is appreciated, the page you just edited currently has a template called {{Inuse}} at the top. This template means that someone is currently working on improving the article, and to avoid edit conflicts, no one other than the placer of the template should edit the page while the message is visible. Thank you for your cooperation. UberSoldat93 (talk) 18:58, June 20, 2020 (UTC)
- It appears you've been reminded of this multiple times before. This is not a good gesture as an editor. EV-9D9 is also undergoing a Featured nomination. AV-6R7 is already working to update the page with Mandalorian content. If you have any objections, feel free to leave them on the page for the nominator to handle. UberSoldat93 (talk) 19:01, June 20, 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Ludwig Göransson added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks!. UberSoldat93 (talk) 16:36, July 10, 2020 (UTC)
- You have to use the "archivedate" field if you're using the Internet Archive timestamp, not "archiveurl". Otherwise, it breaks the template as seen here. Please go back and fix this. Thanks. UberSoldat93 (talk) 01:02, September 19, 2020 (UTC)
This is a general warning to you regarding your referencing/attribution practices, specifically in regards to this edit. Firstly, you've been here long enough to know that we format our references using the <ref name=""> format at the beginning of the citation, not <ref>, in accordance with Wookieepedia:Sourcing. Secondly, you are required by the same policy page to provide a backup link for each external link you cite in the course of an article, which you failed to do in that last edit. Worse, you actually used a non-backup URL in the backup link field for that Cite web template, which makes it looks like there's actually an archive URL being used there when in fact there is not. You will need to go back and fix this edit and adopt these required practices for all future edits that you make. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:34, August 20, 2020 (UTC)
- This is your second and final warning regarding the proper wiki-code formatting for references, specifically in regard to the use of <ref name=""> over <ref>, which is required by Wookieepedia:Sourcing, as has already been explained to you. If you continue to disregard this, you will be issued a block from editing. Don't let it come to that. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:23, September 10, 2020 (UTC)
Hi! I was looking at , and I noticed that Ewoks: Season Two was mentioned right at the beginning when the scrolling text start to appears, around 0:30. The second season is called All New Ewoks there, and since you contributed the most to that page, I was wondering if you could look into this? Maybe this warrant a move, I'm not sure, but it would be good (albeit redundant) to find a reference to this name somewhere else. NanoLuuke 10:48, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
Please do not remove content from Wookieepedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. UberSoldat93 (talk) 19:22, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello, just letting you know that this is the correct way to use the archivedate parameter for internet citation templates other than {{Cite web}}. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 02:07, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi! I've seen a few of your edits from last weeks (including here and here) featuring Cite_web using incorrect or outdated formatting for {{Cite_web}}. To resume the issues, these instances of Cite_web were using last= and first= instead of author=, publisher= (it's only to be used for the legal owner) instead of work= and the wrong formatting for date=. You might not be aware, but the template was recently updated (both in code and documentation). Maybe you copied those from another pages, but please in the future, try to correct them. In the meantime, I'll go over some of your edits (the one who goes through my OOU watchlist anyway), and correct the pages if it's necessary. Thanks and keep bringing the links :D ! --NanoLuuke 19:19, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to The Mandalorian Season Two added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! OOM 224 15:10, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
So what if a Rebel Force Radio host says the information there is "slander"? That is not a valid reason to remove properly attributed content whatsoever. OOM 224 18:32, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
