WookieeProject Creators is a WookieeProject dedicated to improving articles featuring actors, authors, composers, directors, editors, illustrators, and anyone else who has contributed to Star Wars. If you wish to join this Project, please sign your name below in the "Participants" section.

The main goal of this WookieeProject is to elevate the overall quality of creators articles on Wookieepedia, and help editors to bring those to status (Featured articles, Good articles, Comprehensive articles).

A lot of articles still requires to conform to policies, such as the Layout Guide, the Manual of Style and the Sourcing policy, including:

On the Discord server for Wookieepedia, several creators have been given the role of VIP. These pages should be maintained regularly.

Objectives

The main goal of this WookieeProject is to elevate the overall quality of creators articles on Wookieepedia, and help editors to bring those to status (Featured articles, Good articles, Comprehensive articles).

A lot of articles still requires to conform to policies, such as the Layout Guide, the Manual of Style and the Sourcing policy, including:

  • Limiting the information regarding creators careers outsides Star Wars to the strict minimum, and removing any listing unrelated to Star Wars. If you are unsure about what to do exactly, you can always leave the {{StayOnTarget}} template on a page for a more experienced editor to deal with it.
  • Ensuring that the list of works of a creator are correctly organized, under a single "Works" section, itself subsectionned between Bibliography, Discography, Filmography, Gameography and/or Other works. Note that the order of the subsections must follow the chronological order of releases, thus if a Gameography subsection first release is from 1990 and a Filmography subsection first release is from 2000, the Gamegraphy subsection will come first.
  • Each works list inside subsections must be made into a table, using, in order, Year and Title columns, with the possible addition of others, including but not limited to Series, Contributions, Platforms, Format, and Notes. .
  • Another great concern is the lack of references in a great deal of articles. Remember that you should always includes a reference to the addition of new information to an article. Note that tables too needs to be referenced.
  • As those articles often support several external links, be sure that those are listed in the proper order.
