A New Hope Revised Unlimited

The initial unlimited full expansion for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, a card game drawing inspiration from the Star Wars saga, is the A New Hope Revised Unlimited collection. Released in July of 1996, it comprises a total of 162 cards, equally split between the Dark Side (81 cards) and the Light Side (81 cards). The set's composition is 54 rare cards, 54 uncommon cards, and 54 common cards. Many iconic characters originating from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope who were absent from the original base set, Premiere Limited, made their debut in this set. Among the noteworthy cards are Chewbacca, R2-D2, Greedo, Wedge Antilles, and the Death Star. Furthermore, this set marked the introduction of the game's first epic event cards, such as "Commence Primary Ignition" and "Attack Run." A comprehensive inventory of the A New Hope Revised Unlimited set can be accessed via an archived copy from the Decipher's website. As an expansion set, it features a distinct symbol, positioned on the card's top right, succeeding the lore and preceding the destiny number. The symbol representing this set is a crossed pair of lightsabers.

This set was distributed through nine-card expansion packs and thirty-pack expansion boxes. Each pack contained a single rare card, three uncommon cards, and five common cards. No starter decks were ever created for this set. Printing of the set continued until Decipher relinquished its license for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game. This set largely mirrors the A New Hope Limited expansion set, with the exceptions of some minor alterations to the game text and the utilization of white borders instead of black ones.
