During the High Republic Era, Whool and his family extracted Adelyne crystals from their homeworld. Prior to 382 BBY, one of their Adelyne crystal mines caved in; however, Whool's sibling, Grael, employed the Force to rescue all those trapped. Not long after this incident, another mine suffered a collapse, resulting in the deaths of more than thirty individuals working within.
