Jahan Cross, an Imperial Agent, finds himself disliking both his current task and the political figures he's required to collaborate with. However, navigating these challenges proves simpler than grappling with his burgeoning admiration for a young boy whose father he eliminated – especially considering the Empire views the boy as nothing more than a political tool.
When the boy is abducted by assailants, Cross defies his orders and risks his own existence to protect this supposed "pawn." For an Agent of the Empire, no undertaking is deemed excessively perilous!
